What a world...
Dear Mr. Bush,
As you'll no doubt never read this, I feel there isn't much for me to say here. We all know you never read, and probably never use, the internet, but regardless this is more for everybody else than yourself.
First off, you are probably asking yourself why I am calling you Mr. Bush as opposed to President Bush. Well, for one, as far as I am concerned you are no longer President. In fact, as far as I can tell from your last few months in office you no longer think of yourself as President either. Never have I seen such an absent President in the last few months of his final term. This speaks worlds more about you than anything you have ever done, especially considering the recent economic crisis.
Second, I hope the war crimes you have committed both at globally and nationally live to haunt you for the rest of your days. I wish no physical harm upon you, but the sheer weight of what you have done needs to remain within your being for as long as you live. From the PATRIOT Act, to Guantanamo Bay, to the Iraq War much has been done in your name and for that, Mr. Bush, I hope that you live many years. Guilt can be your very very worst enemy at times.
Finally, I hope that, as you leave the office of the Presidency, you finally learn what exactly it is you have done. I fear you may have lead a very lonely and closed off existence as the President and feel that maybe... just maybe... this could have been the reason for your stand-offish attitude towards anybody who didn't think the way you did. I hope you see and learn the error in your ways and maybe start working some of the guilt off.
Goodbye, Mr. Bush... please stay the fuck out of American politics for as long as you live.
- Geoff
