Dear Mr. Bush,
I want to thank you for: expanding our national debt, starting a war with a nation we had no right to invade, for wiretapping our citizens, stripping away individual liberties, decimating our founding principles, destroying our reputation around the world, supporting the rich over the poor, choosing divisiveness over compromise, and thwarting the American dream for millions you swore to protect and defend.

Thank you so much. If it wasn't for you, the country would never have been so unified against you and your ultraconservative ideology. Your incompetence allowed the nation to look beyond color, party affiliation, and ignorance to elect Barack Obama.

For that Mr. Bush, I thank you.

I hope that you enjoy the work of President Obama. I'm sure that in years to come, you may reconcile your failures, and actually achieve some modicum of success like your father and Jimmy Carter.
