Europe believes in miracles...
Dear Mr. Bush,
Your eight years in office are finally over. I sometimes wonder how you look back on the long time you've spent attempting to rule a nation. Do you look back on it with pride, convinced of the foolish notion that you have done the right thing, and do you still sleep well at night?
The point is, Mr. Bush, that I believe you've really tried to make this work. Really, I do. I am sorry to say that it didn't work. I regret to announce that I feel absolutely astonished about how an attempt to rule a country has turned into the great feat of ruining several countries -- including your own -- instead. I have got to express my wonder at how one man can change the course of so many families, of so many political ways, of so many futures... and still be able to live day after day with the fact that nothing was changed for the better.
Your time was already up after four years. I have no idea how 59 million people still managed to vote for you. It must really have been some kind of miracle. Now that another four years have passed, I think it is safe to say that you have really shaped my teenage years in a most remarkable way. It's almost like another miracle.
You have singlehandedly managed to convince a young woman of the fact that some people simply do not have the required intelligence for anything resembling finesse or peaceful negotiations. You have made me weep at the prospect of war, death and hatred like no other man has ever managed to do. You have made me laugh, many times, like the time when you patted a foreign queen on the back, couldn't get out of a room, made the most idiotic remarks known to mankind and produced facial expressions I didn't even know were possible to make. You have made me shake my head with compassion for all of the people that fell victim to your reign of terror on your nation. I would write this letter to no one else but you, because nobody else deserves to know just how much their mistakes and their stupid actions have made me scream at the television with rage and made me swear bitterly that change needed to come before it all fell to pieces.
Now that your time in office is over, I feel at peace with the world again. Change has come and I welcome it with open arms, because nobody else could ever be such a bad president as you have been. I believe in the good type of miracles again now that I am no longer confronted with the bad ones.
Thank you for the laughter and for the great example concerning how to not lead the human race into an age of love and light. I am sorry to say you won't be missed.
Wishing you the power to finally come to terms with every little stupid thing you've done,
- Europa.

This is very very well said. I hope it makes it to his desk.
Very well said. I hope it makes it to his desk.
Nobody cares what European liberals think!
That one comment of yours, my dear, is precisely the reason WHY you're probably still rooting for disaster (read: Bush). I feel sorry for your limited worldview.
What a douche bag. BTW you can't vote in the US my dear cunt. If you could, I'm convinced that you would vote for the tree hugging, bed wetting, hand out giving, national security depleting scum-bags we call liberals. Here is wishing Europe another Nasty dictator...This time defend yourself.
When will Americans like you, Anonymus, ever understand that liberalism is not a swearword but an achievement?
Exactly! Without our believes you Europeans would be bowing down to Germany. So think about that the next time you think we should be a Liberal nation also.
But then again, we have a good balance of Liberal and Conservative. Were not too bad off.
Bush did a great job. Europeans who hate him can go away because its not their country and trust me, we don't want you here so stay in Europe.
An American rooting for Bush's policies is telling us to mind our on country's business? The irony is almost painful.
"Europeans who hate him can go away because its not their country and trust me, we don't want you here so stay in Europe."
Dear citizen of the United States. unfortunately the once so great land of riches and freedom has now turned into a needing empire. it has no borders culturally, and no limits in trade. so it is DAMN FAIR for me, as a citizen of Europe, to claim my RIGHTS to be present both in your culture and in your trade- and this I'll do as long as my country lives under the presence of your political disaster of an INDEBTED, clumsy colossus!
"Europeans who hate him can go away because its not their country and trust me, we don't want you here so stay in Europe."
Speak for yourself. I'd much rather have the Europeans here than people like you.
Well said.
How nice for Europeans to never have made any mistakes.
Tell me, how does it feel to be perfect?
Read many history books, do you?
I respect you Mr. European as a fellow human being but please understand that there were reasons for our war with Iraq that perhaps you aren't aware of. How much research have you done on your own into this? Have you tried to find out why Bush made the choices he did or are you satisfied with just calling Americans names and blaming everything that is wrong in the world on one person.
We went to war because they agreed to show us that they are not making weapons. They refused to allow us access to the agreed upon areas. We waited and meanwhile they moved everything. So, yes...I feel we should have gone. We should have had your support in doing so because what good is it to the world if we can't hold countries to their word that kill their own people like they were nothing but chickens? I don't know all the reasons Bush went to war but there are a great many other countries fighting along side of us that must see some reason to be there. Did you know they kill more of their own people than they do anyone else? America and the wonderful countries that are helping have built schools and housing and are feeding the hungry and are trying to help them establish a government that will end the suffering of their people.
Americans are horrible people for asking other countries to honor their treaties and for helping the innocent victims live a life without fear of being raped, beaten or killed.
And hasn't Europe always hated us anyway and thought they were better? I sure hope not but sometimes it seems like no matter what we do, everyone will always hate us anyway. We all share the same earth so why is it so hard to give each other the benefit of the doubt.
