Heart Felt, Honor

Dear Mr. Busch,
I just wanted to say Thank you sir for everything you have done in your power as one man to serve and protect me,my family, and this country to the best of your ability.

I have 2 family members in the military right now,my cousin is a Top Gun Pilot for the Navy, and his father, my Uncle is on his second deployment for the Army in Iraq, he is a hospital administrator for the wounded soldiers. He made sure that he left under your orders in September before this so called change of presidency. My grandfather served in the military in Vietnam, World War 2, as a naval chief on the destroyers. That being said, my family, and others know that when you join the service, you are joining the fight to serve our country no matter what. You have made honorable choices to protect us and I think you did one hell of a job, as my father would have said.

As I watched you say goodbye and step on to the helicopter to leave Washington,I felt a huge lump in my throat and I began to cry. There goes the most honorable man I have ever known in our time.It is hard for me really to express in words how I felt that day and even now. Who knows now what is to become of us.

Now it is your time to try and live the rest of your years out with your family as normal as possible. I hope you can sir because you have earned it.You will be deeply missed Mr. Busch and we will never forget you.

Sincerely Grateful,
Charmaine

I agree with you and feel/felt the same. I too come from a long line of soldiers in my family and there is pride in that, is there not? Even though I don't know you, I'm glad you posted such positiveness among all the destructiveness being stated about former President Bush. (The Freedom of Speech act is something else!)Take care and God bless!

"There goes the most honorable man I have ever known in our time." You really need to get out more Charmaine. Maybe when you're paroled you'll meet some actually decent people. Bush started a war with a country that never attacked us, Charmaine, and doesn't even have the guts to admit his mistakes, nor that some were done deliberately, by him or his administration, and all those deaths of the 1 million Iraquis and the 4,000+ servicement, are on his hands.
If this is the most honorable many you've ever known, I feel very sorry for you.
