Good Bye, Good Luck, and thank you for proving me right.

Dear President Bush,

First, I would like to thank you for winning the 2004 election by 51% (rounded). I won a contest in which I predicted the outcome of the Presidential election. I was able to buy a hooded sweat-shirt from the university I was attending at the time. It has kept myself (and some females) very warm. If it wasn't for you winning, I would have been cold and had no school spirit.

I am looking forward to our new President, Obama, and I wish him the very best. I know that you, yourself, are a good person and I applaud you for being yourself in office. Most people criticize a Southern person for their drawl and laid back personality but I for one support it. Some may call you idiotic or unintellectual but thats ridiculous. Its tough to be yourself when you're in power.

On another note, sorry your administration kind of sucked. I'm sure they were great people to be around and everyone had good intentions but nothing really seemed to work out the way they thought it did. (I'm hoping that was the case, anyway.) I like to look for the best in everyone. With a new president (who the conservatives are calling a dictator), hopefully everything will end up just fine. Thats why there's the whole two-term limit thing in the constitution now (that and they don't want you to die in office...).

Enjoy retirement. Have some fun. Maybe team up with John Kerry like your dad did with Clinton. You two might just get a long. Shoot, maybe go knock some golf balls around (or shoot some hoops) with Obama once everything gets settled down. Either way, fair well and good luck, sir. Either way anyone looks at it, you were President of the United States of America and that is definitely something to be proud of.

Sincerely,

Jerrad Brown

Woohoo! Four extra years of suffering for a school hoodie! Way to go!
