Dear Mr. Bush,
My sisters and I want to thank you for your dedication and perseverance amidst unfair criticism during the past eight years. We admired your humility and courage. We have been praying for you, and the Lord has put it on our hearts to send you this email. It is reassuring to us that you can overcome the challenges facing you because of your faith and dependance on the Lord. Be encouraged that in God's eyes you don't have to qualify on your own accomplishments to be an overcomer, but you are an overcomer because you have faith in Him. As we watched the media try to destroy you and the Republican Party, and the moral values of our great country, we have to remind ourselves constantly that we cannot stop them ourselves. We can however overcome the challenges to defeat them if we combine the strength God has given us with complete reliance on the unseen power and presence of Christ. Senator Obama kept telling the American public that a vote for John McCain would mean another 4 years of George Bush. America would have been blessed if McCain would have won and his administration was as good as what yours had been. We were watching a Christian TV station and the speaker said that he believes that one day the American people are going to realize that George W. Bush was one of the greatest presidents this country has ever had. We believe that this will definitely happen. We also would like to commend Laura Bush on her elegance and sophistication as our First Lady the last eight years. She has been an excellent role model for all woman. Please accept our thanks Mr. President and Mrs. Bush for a job well done and thank you for finishing the course God had set before you and for going out with dignity and character. You have our deepest thanks.
